For the potluck, everyone with the last names staring A-M needs to bring a main dish and side, and those with the last names starting N-Z need to bring a main dish and dessert. We will be providing some hot dogs and drinks for 25 cents per item as a supplement but you should bring your own ice chest with drinks for your family, not forgetting chairs / blankets to lounge! We also need volunteers to help in transporting the resources and grilling the hot dogs. If you are interested in helping out, please contact Rocksand Hill at 853-9950.

Pastor Linda,
WE HAVE AN AMAZING TESTIMONY!!! Last week, Trenton woke up with a bad throat ache. He noticed that his tonsils were red, inflamed and swollen. The next morning he was watching and listening to your sermon on your website. (I don’t remember the specific date of the sermon. It was in October. It was the sermon the week before (or the week after) you were talking about praying fervently. You were rolling around the steps? It was right around that time.) In this sermon, you gave a word of knowledge about throats. Trenton said he felt power shoot into his throat THROUGH THE COMPUTER! The swelling began to subside and he started to receive healing in his throat! WHO KNEW when you gave that word of knowledge it would be Trenton that would receive it in California, VIA INTERNET…..(DAYS AFTER THE SERVICE??)? WOW!!!! THAT IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! Proof that there is no distance in the spirit!
Kanule

Pastor Linda,

I’m so excited right now I can’t even think straight! I’ll just hit the highlights. Craig went to a gastroenterologist today. The doctor looked at his blood work from late October of this year and compared it to the blood work he had done almost exactly one year ago, just before he got laid off last October 31st, and then he asked Craig what he’s been doing this past year. Craig said he’s been praying and seeking God for healing. The doctor told him that the level of hepatitis C in his blood has gone from somewhere around 2 million units (yes, I said 2 million) one year ago to around 5 thousand this year!!!! He said it appears that Craig’s body is clearing itself of the virus!!!!! He doesn’t want Craig to start chemotherapy and wants to see him again in 6 months. I won’t bore you with all the details, but Craig prayed about which doctor he should go to, and it seemed like God was shutting every other door because his first two choices would not see him since he didn’t have insurance. This doctor finally agreed to see him, and now it turns out he’s a Christian! He laid hands on Craig and agreed with him for a complete healing.

Pastor Linda, Craig has had this virus for approximately 30 years!!!! He went through chemo about 12 years ago, and was in remission for two months afterwards, and then the virus came back worse than ever. He was getting sicker with each passing year. After the week of fasting for Pastor Billy Joe, our family decided to fast one more time last week and target Craig specifically in our prayers. Last Wednesday near the end of Harp and Bowl you said that Hepatitis C was being healed, and I wanted to believe it, but I have seen Craig getting worse and worse for so long that I thought the only way the Lord was going to heal him was through chemotherapy. To be honest, that’s where I’ve been putting my faith the last couple of months. I see now that the only thing that prevented Craig from starting chemotherapy last year was getting laid off and losing his health insurance. We’ve been trying to make it happen ourselves because we just didn’t see him getting healed any other way, even though God told me about nine months ago that Craig was going to be “healed as he goes,” which I didn’t really understand at the time. Now I can look back over the past year and see that Craig has chosen to go down the path the Lord had prepared for him. He has gone through RTF and made great spiritual progress in his life and has humbled himself and taken a job far below his qualifications and experience just to feed his family. And all the while God was working in his body, too, even though we couldn’t see it. In fact, Craig has been so sick the last month that it just looked like there was no hope at all for him. Then at the end of the fast, your Sunday morning message reminded us of the miracles that God has done and that he is the same God today and is no respecter of persons. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Pastor Linda, for your faith in God. We are learning so much from you and obviously still have a lot more to learn.
Bless you!
Della

People are getting healed on Facebook! Pastor Linda posted a testimony of healings from Sunday night, and encouraged others to believe as they read. Samantha read the update and got healed of neck pain! Praise God!

CJ - I was healed of a mass on my left side. I was able to cup the mass with the palm of my hand. After I got prayer for I noticed the lump getting smaller and smaller until I could barely feel it! Praise God!

Kim - I had two bulging discs in my lower back and neck and hip pain due to sporting accidents. Since visiting with you in Tulsa, my back, neck and hip have been hurting let and less each day. In fact, I haven’t felt the need to seek treatment from a chiropractor. I have been able to lift things without complications or soreness in my back.

Anonymous – I was healed of headaches and migraines.

My shoulder was frozen for 8 years. Now I can raise my arm and do several things I could not do before. Yippee!! God is awesome!

A healing week is a ministry process in which an individual is ministered to in each of four areas: Sins of the Fathers and the Resulting Curses, Ungodly Beliefs, Soul/Spirit Hurts and Demonic Oppression.

Healing life’s hurts, through repentance and forgiveness, has become of the utmost importance to us in our ministry at Open Bible Fellowship. Having walked through this healing process ourselves, we know the value and freedom it has brought to lives and marriages, as well as to churches.

Whether we want to admit it or not, all of us have been hurt and wounded by life’s trials and circumstances. It has been our delight and joy to see thousands come into healing at OBF. For some, it has been a dramatic encounter with the Lord. For others, an extended process. So we are excited to see a dream coming true in providing a place where peopled can come away for a few days to pursue their healing in a quiet and safe setting.

These are unique and wonderful days with God’s love and grace being poured out upon His people. It you are hurting and eed the Father’s heart to heal you, we invite you to come and experience the freedom and hope that is rightfully yours to enjoy.

Why a healing week?
Everyone desires wholeness. We all want to be free of those things that lock us into the wounds of our past. We want the quality of life and our walk with the Lord to be improved. Healing life’s hurts and restoring broken relationships is an essential part of the ministry of Open Bible Fellowship. Recognizing that the healing process is different for everyone, we have established a Healing Week to provide a unique opportunity for five sessions over five days of intensive prayer counseling within a safe and quiet environment.

Location
A healing week will take place qithin a quiet, safe setting located at or near OBF.

Meals
You are responsible for all your meals. A list of local restaurants will be provided upon request.

Accommodations
You are responsible to arrange for your own accommodations. A list of hotels in the area is available upon request. Couples are asked to arrive on Sunday evening to begin orinetation and then begin receiving ministry the next morning. Evenings are free to rest and reflect on the day’s ministry and finish helpful related reading assignments.

Application
The application is in two parts. The first, or preliminary application, will ask you to give us in brief summary why you would like the ministry. Completing this part of the application does not mean you will be accepted. Once the preliminary application is received, we will assess whether a Healing Week format would benefit your healing process. If approved, we will be in touch with you concerning a date to attend. At the same time we will send you the second part of the application which will ask for more information about you and your family history. All information will be handled with the strictest of confidence.

Ministry Format
Each day will include a session of prayer ministry and counseling from a certified team assigned to you for the week. The ministry team members are trained and experienced and a Healing Week model. Couples will each receive individual ministry as well.

Costs
The cost is $1,950 for a couple and $1,000 for a single. These costs do not include accommodation or food. Prices are subject to change, so sign up soon.

Prerequisite Reading
In preparation for a Healing Week, you will be required to read the following book prior to your arrival: “An Integrated Approach to Biblical Healing Ministry” by Chester and Betsy Kylstra (Sovereign World Books).

Please pick up and complete a ministry form in detail from the church receptionist desk Monday - Thursday or the Hospitality Center on Sundays. A healing week representative will contact you to discuss available times and dates or to help determine if we can best help you find another form of ministry that will better suit your issue(s).
